LM warmup, 8.25 miles in 1:06:29, 8:04/mi, HR 157, w/ 13 x Strides, & stretching. Foot ached something fierce last night when I laid down to try to sleep.....took some time to ignore it enough to fall asleep. Felt fine this morning and decent enough on the run. The ache is mostly the achilles attachment point on the heel, but I figure its weakness leaving the body, right? Stride is still not quite right, but today's issue was more from tired (out-of-shape) legs. I hope a few sessions will wake them up to the fact that they couldn't possibly have lost as much fitness as they're claiming right now. The strides were okay but tiring. Overall, about as happy as I have any right to be. |
