LM warmup (10 reps), 6.5 miles in 52:47, 8:07/mi, HR 155, & stretching.

Sunny and warm (75F).  Legs didn't loosen up until 3.5 miles into the run.  At least its starting to feel like I'm adjusting to running in warm temps.  The pace was slower than normal, the HR higher than normal, but I didn't have the uncontrollable urge to just quit running.  Wish I was adapting to carrying a water bottle as quickly.  My shoulders tire before I've even gone a mile.  It's okay if I'm just carrying one, because I can switch back and forth, but I suspect I'll need to tote 2 along for WR, so I'd better strap some weights to my wrists for the next several days.

I'm so spoiled with all the drinking fountains around here. But the water isn't what I'd call tasty. I have a nice handheld, maybe I'll try to use it more this summer. And it might strengthen the arms? That would be welcome.

I know that "urge to stop running" well. 65F seems to be my magic number for thoughts of paralysis. We do get better by September though, don't we?

Have a good week and I'll hope for clouds for you next weekend. But I would have hoped that anyway, lol. I'm sorry to mention it, but statistically that's the driest weekend of the year. Here's to a break with tradition!
