2 miles in 15:17, 7:38/mi, HR 179.  Overcast and warm (72F).  Things didn't feel as smooth today and the hip ache was back after the run.  Not going to read too much into this.

Hang in there! How is the running form work coming along? Were you trying to relearn a healthier stride?

I am trying to avoid what may have led to my injury while running. I tend to let my hips rotate inwards triggering overpronation and a big heel whip. So much of my rehab was keeping my knees over my feet throughout the stride. I'm using the Fitzgerald proprioceptive cue of the axle between the knees, but it's hard to know how it goes since I can't really see myself while running. It's a constant struggle, but then again all good things are.

Does that also include working on arms? I have observed that my arm movements affect my legs dramatically. "As goes the elbow..."

Well, I *think* my arms are okay. I focused early on keeping hands loose, moving straight forwards/backwards, and brushing the seams of my shorts when I run. At the end of the long run, I have to guard against tensing them up and bringing them higher, but generally speaking I don't think they're my problem.

My lower half is my real problem. I've had splay feet forever, some structural but some because of poor posture and muscle strength in stabilizers. It's about all I can do to focus on keeping knees aligned for now.
