I just noticed your sleep log. Jealous, jealous, jealous! Sometimes I think I would improve as a runner 100% if I got 9 hours of sleep on a regular basis. I'd have to go to bed at 7:30 most nights! But yesterday I was thinking about my friend who drives a delivery truck and gets up a 3 every morning. His family just understands and expects that he will turn in about 7 PM. And I was having this fantasy of my family putting up with it too. lol Well, thanks for listening!

I'm very fortunate in that I work from home, so I normally start work early and take a break at lunchtime to get my run in, so it disrupts my schedule much less than most people. I don't function well on less than 8 hours sleep (never have), and waking up before 6am is really difficult for me. I couldn't get in near the mileage or intensity I do without my sleep pattern the way it is. I thank my lucky stars every time I think about it!
