I have ran three marathons. SGM in 2005, Ogden in 2006, and SGM 2006. My best time in a marathon is Ut. Valley Marathon 3:59:46. I have ran seven half marathons, some 10k's and 5k"s. My favorite marathon is SGM.I have ran 13 Marathons, will be during my first Ultra in march of 2013, it will be the Antalope Island Buffalo Run, a 50k.
2008 SGM PR 4:02:23 The best is yet to come. Short-Term Running Goals: Short term running goal is to increase my four days a week of running to five to six days a week. Do more speed work this coming year. Bring my times down. I would like to do SGM in 4 hrs or less. Long-Term Running Goals: Keep up with my Brother Clay in a marathon, someday do a sub four hour marathon, and BQ. Personal: I have been married for 34Years, and am still madly in love with my wife Wendy. I have four children and six Grand children.

Today I wanted to do a recovery run, I am still a little wack from sat. long run of 18 plus. It was alot cooler today than it has been in the afternoon, and I actually did'nt feel to bad so I extended a couple of more miles. I keeped it at a real easy pace and felt Like I could have run for a long time. My total time today was 1:36:22, with an averge pace of 9:35.

| I took it easy again today my legs are feeling wack. Just tryed to do what my body would let me. After my run i done some streching and I might have pulled a muscel in my left buttocks. It does'nr feel to bad so I hope it will be ok. My total time today was 1:20:38, with an average pace of 9:51. |

| Before my run I streched real good my left buttocks is still tight, by the time I got done with my run it was really tight and is difficult to walk. I hope it is nothing serious. My total time was 1:22:14, with an average pace of 10:12. I my my muscel pull is'nt anything serious, it 's to close to the SGM. Yikes. |

| I am taking today an tomorow off from running, I hve a pulled hamstring. It is painful to walk let alone run on it. The weird thing is I don't even know when it happend. So today I have be streching and useing ice, we will see how we are doing on sat. morn, hopefully I will get in maybe a 10 to 12 miler. I will just have to see how it feels. What a bummer SGM is getting so close. I hope it heels quickley. |
