Very hot run this late afternoon, I think the hotest one yet. I will go easy the next couple of week until the old mans body gets used to the extra sun rays. I did the loop up around the golf course. Now that we have moved closer to the river bottoms it has taken a little more than a mile off from my regular route. I will have to do some adjusting to bring the milage back into my running routes. I felt pretty good through most of the run, coming back accross the river bottoms the heat started to take it's toll. My total time was 58:32 average pace was a slow 9:20. I ended with 200 crunches. My mile splits are as follows.

Mile 1. 9:16

         2. 9:03

        3. 9:00

        4. 9:31

        5. 9:28

        6. 9:49 Heat Stroke, Help !!!!!

Not as hot as yesterdays run but I could tell yesterdays heat left me on the wack side. So my pace was quit a bit slower than yesterdays. My route took me out to GU Corner then back across river bottoms, down canal road out by the storehouse, up senic to home. By the time I finished my butt was a draggin, Total time was 1:09:43. Average pace was 9:37. I also did 200 crunches, catch ya later.

Kind of embarrassing today, my legs are fully wacked it was all I could do to make it the 4 plus miles. I guess the two layoff affected me more than I thought it would. we will continue to work back slow. I was able to get in 200 crunches. I will use tomorrow as a rest day, and do a long run on sat.
