I did'nt have to go into work today, so I took in an early morn sat run for a change. It felt good to be out in the cool morn air. I did the usual sat morn long run route out ovr harry's hill, down slaem height's road, back to gu corner. I refuled ther and took a trip around the golf course to home. I kept the milage a little lower today, I have been increasing the past three weeks and I have a half marathon next sat. A fellow runner gave me some good advice this morn. It is better to come across the finish line a little under trained than come across injured. I guess you have to pick your poisen and live with it. It was last year at this time I became injured, and was out for six months. Don't want to do that again. I did see my little Bro. Clay out this morn. stopped to talk for a few. It was good to see him, I hope he is on the oher side of his injury. Been a good week of training, so far no real injuries, I will keep knocking on wood. It's a crap shoot. See ya mon. |
