Today s run was a struggle, the hammie is startimg to feel good but I have seem to develope a new injury. I don't know if it's a shin splint or the muscel. It was a painfull run and very slow. I just could'nt push very well today. It's the right leg down about half way between the knee and the ankle towards the inside. I am iceing it right now as I am blogging. If it hurts to run this much with taking one day of  rest I bet I won't be running tomorrow. We will just have to see how it feels. My total time today for the 4 miler was 43:33.  I also did 30 min of upper body weight training. Very frustrating !!!!!!

Sorry to hear about the injuries and hope you can get to the bottom of the problem and fix it.

Hey if you and your brother ever want to join in with the SF running club bunch you are always welcome. I think I've seen you guys on Saturday mornings sometimes and it would be great to have you join us on occasion if you felt like doing something different every now and again. We meet at the stake center west of Canyon Elementary at 6am and/or at the Bishops storehouse at 6:30 every Saturday during the winter months. There are typically runners of a variety of paces doing these runs.

Also feel free to partake of the beverages that are placed by Osbourne's over by GU corner.

Hey bro. Try to take it easy on that injury it is most likley shin splints, or a torn muscle, and if you keep running on it you will only make it worse. You know that is what happened to me and I am still not 100% so take some time off, do some cross training, this is the time of year to do it and take some time off, even though it is frustrating...

If mine doesn't start getting back to 100% soon I might even take some more time off just to let it heal up properly, that way I can be ready for 2008.

Take care.
