I felt much better than I expected after yesterday, so I did a really slow warmup and then an 800 fast. My knees are feeling better, I haven't been having any problems lately, so I'm planning on slow increasing mileage.
I jogged for as long as I could today before my knee stated acting up. After walking for a few minutes I was able to go another good 10 minutes or so. Using the treadmill has been really nice for getting started again. I feel like I have under-utilized it in the past. I tend to push myself a lot harder, sometimes too hard, when running outside; so even though its boring, the treadmill has been really handy for keeping it slow.
Felt pretty good today, better than I have in a while. I forgot how nice running is for procrastinating other things. Why do chaos theory homework when you can run right?
