So, I wanted to see my marathon fitness level and where I'm at right now after a fairly heavy load yesterday. Hopped on the trusty TM and set the pace to what I would like to run, did not move pace until reset and last mile. First 4 miles I was wondering if I was going to make it very much longer. Pushed through it and settled in nicely around mile seven. From there on I upped the pace at reset and finished off last mile at 6:00 pace. Overall I ran 13.1/1:24:17/6:26 which is 2:30 faster than my fastest half I've ever ran. I know it was a TM and there were no outside weather or elevation factors (I did put a fan on me from behind, does that count as a tail wind?) but it made me feel good.

Energy level after the run is really good which means I must have eaten right. Still taking antibiotics but feeling much better.

My foot still hurts, has anyone ever had problems with the top of their foot? I really don't want to be developing a stress fracture and not realize it. wrapped my foot with KT tape to help.

Great run, a good testament to your fitness and training.

Where is the pain on the top of your foot? Could be several different things including as simple a problem as how you are lacing your shoes creating pressure on your foot (happened to me) so you could switch to a more open lacing pattern and it may help.

Call me tonight and we can talk more.
