So my plans changed almost by the hour today. I checked the weather forecast last night and said "hey I might run outside tomorrow". Then I woke up and it was really cold and said "maybe gym", later on I flip flopped again. To make a long story short around 2PM I decided to run outside. Shorts, long sleeve shirt, hat, gloves and compression socks, I figured I was bundled up enough and took off.

I decided on my route that has several length possibilities. After 5 miles I decided not to go the longest and cut off to the shorter loop that still had 3 options. At mile 7 I was still feeling good but not really ready to go for the longest loop and settled for a good medium distance loop. I was able to hold MP relatively easy for most of the run other than when I went straight into the wind but as soon as I turned out the legs kicked back up. Pretty happy with the run today. I did somehow manage to tweak my right ankle and the muscle right below the ankle joint along the bottom of the foot is very tender. I'm going to heat/ice it tonight and see how it feels in the morning. 11.79/1:18:56/6:42

This is now day 4 of being back on the supplements and I can feel a difference. I seem to have more energy before and the run today didn't tax me like they have been doing. My legs felt like they had more pop for a longer time which was good and I will continue to monitor how I feel and energy levels.

I'm planning on cutting back this week and taking it easy so tomorrow looks like I could be elk hunting with the boys and just seeing how things fall it might be a spotty week of running for me.
