Trail run with Paul -

Today was a bonus trail run for the year.  You certainly can't count on any trail being runnable this time of year, but we lucked out.  We headed up to the BST from Paul's house and did a 2-3 mile tour of Hyde Park Canyon.  It got pretty steep and Paul started whining so we turned around and headed down.  This is where I floored it and had a blast coming down. I was in heaven.  We joined back onto the BST and headed south mostly following the double-track road, but did a small amount of exploring on our way to Green Canyon.  We made it the whole way and marveled at the new fishing pond at the start of Green.  What?  Weird.  We decided to make our way home the fast way and hit some roads and lots more canal trail back to Paul's .  A perfect run in perfect winter weather.  Just a shade under 2 hours for 15 miles.  Not bad considering the few thousand feet in elevation change we covered.  155 ave HR

Fish pond? What? I'll have to go see.

Any snow on any of the trails?

[No witty response coming to mind]

Up for any moonlight trail runs in the evening this week?

From Cody on Mon, Nov 30, 2009 at 10:21:57 from 69.9.58.17

No this week. This the last week for Beth to study for the NCLEX (test next mon) and I am on babysitting duty in the evenings.
