Took it easy today. 8 min mile pace. I am feeling pretty good lately. I have started to taper a bit and it feels pretty good. I have kept up the intensity of the workouts, only lowered the mileage this week.

Cody - I think you will be better off with a very minimal taper. Your mileage has been too low in the last month to benefit from a two week taper. I am concerned that the loss of fitness will be higher than the increases in glycogen storage.
Just continue your regular runs, cut down on the volume of fast running, and do shorter versions of a long run (probably 9 miles with 3 miles at your marathon pace effort) on the remaining Saturdays. Then start cutting down to 3-4 miles a day with four days left.
