Met up with Paul and Dan at Dan's house.  We ran up to the Deer Fence trail from millville canyon over to dry canyon and back.  Not a very easy trail with too many hills.  We took it easy which was nice for my foot.  It still hurts and doesn't seem to be getting better lately.  Hopefully tomorrow's day off will help it.

Today's run was completed just in time for the rain to start.  Perfect timing.  Dan loaded us up with fresh raspberries from the garden.  Made for a great breakfast!

Today's run concludes Septembers training.  I finished it off with 303.5 miles.  One of my best months of training ever.  Taper time now!  No more runs of over 10 miles until the big day! T-minus 7 days

12.9 miles is an interesting distance. I still am a firm believer in rounding numbers. If I have my Garmin I will just run other tenth of a mileto make it even.

Glad to hear you guys had a good run. I miss running with you guys. Get that foot better!

Sorry I missed the run- I overslept. Call me a slacker. But I'm planning to either do Green Canyon or Jardine later today. Should be fun.

Jon,

Have fun running in the snow!

James - No e-mail response from you at all! You must have really put on your spam filter for all running related e-mails. We missed you out there spicing things up. Oh, and 12.9 is a rounded number. I am a firm believer in telling it how it is. If Mr. Garmin says 12.9 then its 12.9. I know most people would side with you though. To every man his own...

Jon - The bachelor life is catching up to you now is it? Sleeping in? Are you interested in joining Paul and I monday afternoon at the USU track for the 5 min barrier attempt #2? James if you are free, you can come too

From James on Sat, Sep 29, 2007 at 18:27:28

I did get the emails, about 15 of them. I got home late last night and didn't check that email until this morning, you guys would have already been gone. I guess I should have replied back anyways. I wouldn't have come anyways today, I was looking for a different kind of run.

I am true to my Garmin too, I just would have run another .1 miles to make exactly 13 miles. Unless I had run a 6.1 mile run earlier in the week and needed to even that out. I'm just giving you crap anyways!

You should have much trouble breaking your 5 minute mile. I have XC practice and class that day or I would totally be up for joining you. Good luck!

What time is your attempt? I will see if I can make it.

From Cody on Mon, Oct 01, 2007 at 21:41:58

It was at 5:30. I didn't see you posted this until it was too late. Are you up for 7 miles or so on tues afternoon?
