AM: Easy 5 in the morning in San Francisco before meetings.  I am staying at the Grand Hyatt next to Union Square.  The hills of San Fran are not too bad as I can breathe so easily here.  I ran from the hotel thru china Town to Fishermans wharf and around that area.  I ran along the backs of fish wharehouses on Pier 39.  Kind of a sketchy neighborhood but pretty cool.  This is my first time here so I get to do a lot of my sightseeing out running.  I hope to get in some more tonight.

Enjoy your time there. Did you know Paul and James are out of town, too?

Its probably nice to have some cooler weather to run in too, I know Im enjoying the cooler temps up in Washington State. Hope you have some good runs up there

If you get a chance go to Nan King for dinner, great food. Tell them you have not been there and they will prepare something for you. It is in China town, ask the hotel, they will tell you where it is. It is only a few minutes from where you are staying by foot. Have a great trip, there is some good running in Golden Gate Park too.

Jon,

Are you lonely now? You and Dan should get together.

Michael,

Yes, there is some great running places here. The temps are nice in the mornings/evenings. Nice place to run.

Scott,

I will have to check it out. We are only 3-4 blocks from china town. Thanks for the suggestion. I plan on running thru the park tomorrow. I will have to dodge the bums. Fun stuff
