Its a Girl!!!  6 lbs 14oz 18.5 in Healthy Girl.  I am the proud father of a boy (now two years old) and a tiny little girl.  We couldn't be more pleased with how everything worked out.  Both Mother and Daughter (Lily is her name) are doing great and were sick of me hovering, so they kicked me out of the Hospital for a run.

Ran an easy 8 around Providence and River Heights.

Total Time: 58:46 (7:20)

Congratulations Cody - that is very exciting, glad to hear everyone is healthy!!!!!

From Jon on Wed, Mar 21, 2007 at 18:54:27

Congrats, Cody. That is exciting. By the way, you looked too serious on your run so I rolled down my window and yelled at you as I drove by, but I'm not sure you knew it was me. Silver Camry.

Congrats Cody! I'm sure that was a very good run with all sorts of thoughts running through your mind. Enjoy your sleep while you can.

From James on Wed, Mar 21, 2007 at 19:59:33

Congratulations! I am glad that all went well. That little girl has been threatening to come out for a while and it sounds like you kept her in long enough afterall. Tell your wife good work, and enjoy your knew addition.

From Andy on Wed, Mar 21, 2007 at 22:01:25

Congratulations, Cody. Good to hear that mom and baby are doing well.

From Maria on Thu, Mar 22, 2007 at 04:45:02

Congratulations, Cody! Very exciting news! Enjoy the new baby and don't worry if your training takes a back seat for a while.

From Dan on Thu, Mar 22, 2007 at 10:19:30

Great news! I knew you could do it. Oh, and your wife too. As far as your running taking a back seat, I don't think that will be a problem. You seem to juggle everything really well.

From Jon on Thu, Mar 22, 2007 at 11:18:04

His running can't get too far in the backseat, cause he still has to run the Relay Del Sol with us next week.

From Sasha Pachev on Thu, Mar 22, 2007 at 14:31:44

Congratulations! Two kids is somewhat similar to mile 2 in a long race. The bad news is that it starts to hurt compared to the first mile. The good news is that it does not hurt much more after that. A double stroller is very helpful for getting the miles in.

Adding my congratulations.

From Brent on Fri, Mar 23, 2007 at 16:17:01

Congradulations, can you change diapers as you run?

From Nick on Fri, Mar 23, 2007 at 16:39:29

Hey congratulations!
