AM: I was feeling soreness and weirdness in my ITB yesterday so I thought I would take it easy today and see if it gets better. I did 15 min on the elliptical then 2 miles on the Treadmill. I watched the first 30 min of Harry Potter. Still not a fan, but better then staring at the wall. I will watch the rest in increments. The good news is that my leg didn't hurt so I was able to complete the workout. I do hope that I can get back on tonight and get one more mile.

T- 15:48 (7:54) 2 miles

PM: Got out again in the evening for a jaunt on the TM again.  I actually did 7:30 on the elliptical first then did 2 miles in 15 min.  Leg felt great.  A little soreness/inflamation now afterward.  I did do one cycle of icing for 10 min already.

Yeah! No pain? I was too groggy when you left this morning, I didnt get a chance to get the brief on your run. Its fun for me to see you doing about (I said ABOUT) the same miles as me. Wont last for long knowing you.

PS Maybe Harry isnt a fan of you! :)

I'm not a fan of the Harry Potter movies, either. I think the books are poorly written, but I like the stories. The movies, however, leave too much of the story out. I always say that the movies wouldn't make any sense if I hadn't read the books first.

Oh, and good run, too.

I liked the first movie, where the movies were new and unique (i.e. Harry seeing magic for the first time, etc). The later ones just try to rush through the story too much.

I really got the impression that some of the later books were written by a "ghost writer" (meaning someone other than the original author). They seemed to have a really different feel to them. I'd never read books 4,5, or 6 more that once.

Good luck with the IT band!

I wouldn't know.. I never got past book one.
