My schedule had a 15 mile run today. I was going to get up at 4:00 in the morning to be out the door by 4:30 and do the 15 mile run. But I didn't get to bed until about 10:45, and so I didn't take any cough medicine because I thought if I did I wouldn't be able to get up at 4:00. I actually went to sleep without coughing too much, but then I woke up at 1:30 am with a coughing fit. At that point I got kicked out of bed and moved to the recliner, where I continued to cough until about 4:00. At that point, I was finally getting back to sleep, and so I did that instead of going out to run.

I debated all day whether to run. Finally, while watching The Biggest Loser, I decided to head out. I thought about doing 6, but then decided on 10, which was the most I could do and still get home in time to get to bed at an almost reasonable hour.

So sorry about the coughing-no sleep-night. Hope you feel better soon. NICE GA run despite being sick and running late in the evening. SO DEDICATED! Take extra EmergenC!

Yikes! Hopefully you'll get some sleep tonight. Way to get the miles in! I would've taken a 0 for the day and not thought a thing about it. That darn Biggest Loser can be kinda motivating though... if they can do it, I can too!

Hi Carolyn, I'm sorry to hear that you still have a cough. I think your sleeping in is your body's way of fighting back. Nice miles today considering you did not feel great; hope you feel better soon!
