GA run.

7:49 am, 66-72° F, 42% humidity, wind 14 SSW.

I was up late working last night, so I figured it was fair to sleep in a bit and then run and be late to work. But of course the down side of that is heat. Oh well. Maybe some day I'll get acclimated to the heat.

I ran the hilly County Line Road route.

AP: 8:55. Splits: 9:20, 8:45, 8:45, 9:03, 9:17, 8:36, 9:01, 8:34, 0.42 @ 8:41.

I sweated a lot, but the wind blew it off me. But I got really drippy as soon as I stepped inside my house.

Do you find that you keep on sweating for a long time even after you take you shower? I do.

From KP on Thu, Jun 24, 2010 at 12:30:57 from 131.163.254.64

burt, if i take one right after a run, i have that problem too.

From Burt on Thu, Jun 24, 2010 at 12:32:24 from 206.19.214.144

...but for you it's not sweating. It's glistening.

From auntieem on Thu, Jun 24, 2010 at 12:58:08 from 24.18.77.246

The glistening keeps happening for awhile after the run. If I wait awhile to shower, I stop sweating first. Of course, then I usually have forgotton to shower (:

I usually wait a while to shower too. I write my blog, eat breakfast, stuff like that, and then shower.

I get crotch rash if I wait too long. TMI?

From Tracy on Thu, Jun 24, 2010 at 13:19:25 from 173.23.75.96

I would say so. But hilarious TMI.

I prefer to be clean as soon as possible, but not for the same reasons as Burt.

Ew, Burt.

I only sweat for a few minutes after I get home. Of course my house is usually only 70 degrees when I get back from my run so it feels like I'm walking into a refrigerator after being in the sun. This morning I ran from 7:15-9:45 and it was pretty hot for those final few miles.

Runners have no shame.

Nice workout today!

From Kelli on Fri, Jun 25, 2010 at 00:21:36 from 71.219.99.30

I love how the sweat REALLY begins when you are finally done with the run!

You are doing great out there in the heat! Honestly, it is all that gets me out of bed in the morning is knowing the alternative. I am such a wimp when it goes over 65!!!
