Easy run.

7:15 am, 69° F, 54% humidity, wind 5 SSW.

I did not run a respectable Saturday distance today. I ran on the Highline Canal Trail with Carly. She wanted to run 6 miles and I didn't have the will to keep running after she stopped. Also, my knee was starting to bother me a bit.

Carly and I had a nice conversation about politics while we ran.

Oh joy. Politics and running. I've been listening to NPR on my drives to Boulder and its amazing how much more I know about what is going on in the world just from 30 minutes, twice a week.

NPR rocks Nan!

I am glad you had a nice run with Carly! I also hope you get some rest this weekend and recuperate from your week. Where did the Summer go?

Your miles are always respectable because of all you have accomplished!

From JD on Sat, Aug 07, 2010 at 19:06:21 from 166.183.151.66

...and still you ran more than 99.9 % of the population. Way to bust out some miles in spite of not feelin' it!

NPR rules.

From The Quiet Pirate on Sat, Aug 07, 2010 at 21:53:40 from 96.231.237.164

Politics and NPR are two things I wouldn't want to talk about on a run, I'd much rather discuss dead animals and the rate that rigormortis lasts is large vs small rodents.

Glad you got a trail run in with a friend. Hope your knee is better & you have a good rest day tomorrow.
