Easy run.

6:05 am, 70° F, 31% humidity, wind 9 SE.

Lindsay was available to run with me this morning and it's a good thing because I might have slept in otherwise. I wish I had a running partner more days of the week because that would help me get through this low-motivation stretch I'm going through.

This week should not be quite as busy as the last few weeks. I think that extra-curricular activities are kept to a minimum this week unless there's something I'm not remembering. However, I've got to be to work an hour earlier than usual for a meeting tomorrow and I don't think I can manage to run an hour earlier than usual given my current condition. Maybe I should try. We'll see.

I ran the first mile plus a little bit alone, then about 4 miles with Lindsay, then the remaining almost one and a half on my own. I didn't take the shortest route home after splitting from Lindsay.

AP: 9:30. Splits: 9:52, 9:36, 9:45, 9:39, 9:35, 8:50, 0.46 @ 8:47.

I am glad that you had someone to run with this morning! Some people like to run alone, but I am not one of those people. Having someone to slog through the miles with makes a big difference.

Hope there is nothing that you are forgetting and that you have a good week!

Have a good week! This low motivation will pass. Until then, just keep reminding yourself that you like running :)

Hope this week is less stressful and less busy for you. Just enjoy the running for now; when you do decide to ramp it back up you will be amazed at how fit you still are!!

Congrats on getting out. I hope the motivation can get back up. Now that it's starting to cool off in the morning maybe that will help. Good luck this week.

Yes the weather is starting to cool off a bit. Good job getting out today. I hardly ever run with others but always enjoy it when I do.

You took the long way home, so you've still got a little spark in there!

Running partners are good to help pull you through the tough times.

You had a nice pace and some good miles today!

Glad you had some company, it makes a big difference, even if not for everyone. Keep plugging along!

I am glad you found someone to run with! I'm going through a period where I like to run alone. I try to run a few runs per week with some friends, just to keep in touch, but I've gone solitary for the most part.

Running with friends is awesome!! Glad you got out for your run.
