I've run off and on (more off than on) throughout my adult life. Most recently I started running in May of 2007.

5K PR: Colder Bolder in December 2009 in 22:50.

10k PR: Bolder Boulder in May 2009 in 48:06.13.

1/2 Marathon PR: Canyonlands Half-Marathon in March 2010 in 1:43:20.

Marathon PR: Newport (Oregon) Marathon in June 2010 in 3:42:17.

I have completed two full marathons.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Get back to consistent running.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Sub 3:30 marathon.

Personal:

I grew up in Utah, but live in Colorado now.

I am married and am a working mother of four children, ages 9-19.

Easy run.

I just kind of wandered around this morning and made up a new route. Of course it was bits and pieces of routes I regularly run put together in a different way. There are not that many different places I can run when I run from home.

I thought about running a little longer today but I wanted to be home before my boys left for school with it being their first day of school and all. Actually, I always need to be home before they leave, but I can cut it closer than I did today.

First day of school!! We start in two weeks!! I am actually a little sad for my kids to go back to school. Hope they had a great day!!

Hi! We just moved from WI to the "pretty" part of CO....way out east by the airport. I love Highlands Ranch/Littleton area but sadly it's too far from my husbands work. I hope the first day of school went well! It's still amazing to me how early they are starting school!

Jodee, my husband works in Commerce City so it would be easier for him if we lived out by the airport, but my job is in Highlands Ranch and I have more flexibility to leave work to take care of kids during the day, so it makes more sense to live close to my job. We should try to meet sometime. Maybe get together for a Saturday run or something.
