Easy run.

5:45 am, 51° F, 72% humidity, wind 4 SSW, dark.

I finally managed to drag myself out the door, but only for a short run. I just have way too many things to do in the morning. I need to try to get more things done the night before, like helping my daughter with her homework and making my husband's lunch.

I talked to my manager at work yesterday and I told him that the increased workload is one of the reasons that I've cut way back on my running. He said that I should run because he doesn't want to be responsible for my stopping running. At least he's supportive.

AP: 9:27. Splits: 9:39, 9:24, 9:19.

Hm, I'm not familiar with that concept, "a wife who makes her husband lunch". Ha. You are a good wife, a good employee, and a good runner. Keep it up.

I haven't had a doc who liked my running for years. We just don't discuss it now, since I figure it's none of their business. lol

Nice your manager is supportive, at least verbally, of your running! Sounds like he thinks something bad would happen if you quit.

That is very nice of you to make your husband's lunch. I can only imagine my husband's reaction if I made him a lunch!

Glad you were able to get out for a run. We had almost the same temps today!

Your manager sounds like good people. I hope he is able to find a way to make your load a little lighter.

And yes, you are a super wife.

Three for Thursday! That is encouraging to hear from your boss.

so did he decrease your workload?

From Carolyn in Colorado on Fri, Oct 08, 2010 at 09:44:43 from 24.8.167.243

No, he didn't decrease my workload. That's not really possible right now.
