Level 2 Shred + easy run.

6:18 am, 58°F, 90% humidity, winds calm.

I did some rearranging of the jigsaw puzzle that is my morning and got up and did the Shred first and then went out for my run. The purpose behind this is to fit in a family prayer after 6:00 when Thing 3 gets up and before 6:20 when Thing 2 leaves for seminary. It's easier to fit in the Shred before 6:00 and than to fit in a run.

I don't know if it's because I did the Shred first or if it's because I didn't sleep well last night, but I felt more sluggish than usual at the start of my run. My pace was typical of what it usually is, but it felt a little tougher at first.

I've got a really busy week this week. Seminary started today, I've got to somehow get my oldest son to the dentist in the middle of the day tomorrow, it's my 20th wedding anniversary on Wednesday, there's a scout court of honor on Wednesday, I've got to move my oldest son to Greeley for college on Thursday, I've got to go to two back-to-school nights on Thursday and my husband can't help because he has back-to-school night at the school where he teaches, and it's Thing 2's 16th birthday on Saturday. And I've got a ton of stuff to do at work. So I'll probably have to neglect blogs again this week. I hope this frantic pace lets up soon.

AP: 9:18. Splits: 10:03, 9:39, 9:32, 9:00, 8:58, 8:39 (it turned out to be an unintentional progression run)

You sound crazy busy! Go ahead and neglect the blogs, but don't neglect the runs! You need them even more when you are busy.

I grant you a dispensation this week. I got tired just reading about your obligations this week!

I like the idea of a family prayer. Is this something new or have you always done this?

shew. I, too, got tired reading about all you have to do. A MUST to start with prayer! My guess is your unintentional progressive run was because you were thinking so much about what all has to be done this week. Good luck!

Beautiful splits today, Carolyn! It is easy to see how the more you planned out your week, the faster you ran! Good luck with your full schedule this week!
