I've run off and on (more off than on) throughout my adult life. Most recently I started running in May of 2007.

5K PR: Colder Bolder in December 2009 in 22:50.

10k PR: Bolder Boulder in May 2009 in 48:06.13.

1/2 Marathon PR: Canyonlands Half-Marathon in March 2010 in 1:43:20.

Marathon PR: Newport (Oregon) Marathon in June 2010 in 3:42:17.

I have completed two full marathons.

Short-Term Running Goals:

Get back to consistent running.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Sub 3:30 marathon.

Personal:

I grew up in Utah, but live in Colorado now.

I am married and am a working mother of four children, ages 9-19.

Easy run + level 2 Shred.

6:08 am, 66°, 50% humidity, wind 9 S.

I had to cut my run just a little short because I was late getting out the door. But it's good that I got out the door at all because I considered bagging it. I have to be home by 7:00, so if I want to run longer than about 6 miles, I need to start getting up earlier. I should probably try to get home by 6:45 if I'm going to do the Shred because the rest of my morning is really rushed if I don't start the Shred until 7:00.

good job getting your miles in. I am dreading the 430 am mornings next week.

I've been having the same issue with getting up and out for more miles! I think it's the heat, and stress.

I'm still shooting for sub-6, but I'm not quite making it most mornings. It will become more crucial and I'll have to step up and doing it in the next couple of weeks.
