Easy run.

Well, I finally dragged myself out the door this morning after skipping my runs for the last three days. Maybe I'm too a stage where I need a running partner to keep me going. I ran today because I was meeting up with Lindsay.

This week hasn't been as busy as last week, with the exception of last night. However, I was so physically and emotionally exhausted from last week, that I felt like I needed some time off. Also, my house was more of a wreck than usual on account of the craziness last week, so I've spent my running time for the last three days just trying to catch up with the dishes and the laundry. I did manage to do the Shred on Tuesday, but I didn't exercise at all on Wednesday or Thursday. But the thing about dishes and laundry is it's always time to do them again.

Work is still really busy with no end in sight. I've worked about 10 hours/day every day this week.

AP: 9:53. Splits: 10:37, 9:39, 9:49, 9:33, 10:11 (uphill), 9:27. Miles 1 and 6 were by myself. The rest were with Lindsay. We talked about investing and taxes. She's a tax accountant.

I goofed and originally posted this run on Saturday. I just moved it to Friday.

There's a time and season for everything. Sometimes it's good to take a break from running. The emotional stress can be more exhausting than a marathon, and no one is waiting at the end to give you a medal and a banana :-)

I hope work quiets down and you have a chance to rest so you can get back to doing the things you enjoy (like waking up at 5 am to go running :) ).

If I'm ever in the neighborhood, I'll bring you a medal and a banana :) However, you probably still won't be finished.

Nice work keeping it all put together despite all the craziness in life.
