Another 2+ mile walk this morning. I felt fine until the last quarter of a mile or so and then my hamstrings felt a little tight. I'll see tomorrow whether I feel good enough for a recovery run or whether I need to walk another time. It was 55 degrees, 93 % humidity, and overcast. It did not feel as hot as yesterday morning. But it was warm enough over night that my oldest son slept in the basement because it's cooler down there.

I saw an envelope in the gutter this morning. It was getting wet. I picked it up and it was an unopened Discover card statement. The address on it was the house that I was in front of, so I took it up and put it by the front door. It was too early in the morning to knock on the door.

Real life is stressing me out.

That's good, Sno. Now we can pepper him with questions.

Hope you get that stress under control! I bet life is more stressful during the summer when the kids aren't in school!

Sorry to hear that your hammies are tight... but they are probably tired LOL. Hope that your stress will ease off, I hate stress! You are a good neighbor to put the mail on their door.

Hope the stress lessens.

Sounds like you're recovering nicely. Running is a good buffer for stress, hope you can get some running in soon.

Antidote for stress: a muddy, bloody trail run! Your comment about them scaring you cracked me up. Well, running a marathon scares me.

Enjoy your recovery. At least you don't have the stress of an impending race for now. Glad you are back home and back to your routine even if it is stressful.

REAL LIFE is not always the most pleasant, that is for sure! I hope your stresses go away soon!!! Are you coming to visit us in Utah any time soon?

From Toby on Tue, Jun 08, 2010 at 23:54:18 from 216.194.124.36

Sorry to hear about all the stress! NOT FUN! I always try to remind myself that I will take my own issues and am glad to not have anyone elses!

Hope your feeling better soon!

I'm not sure about a trip to Utah, Kelli. I guess we better decide and schedule it if we are. The kids have a lot of things going on over the summer.

Summer can get crazy with older kids! My teenager is either doing absolutely nothing or crazy busy!! Most of your kids are older than mine, so I bet you are very busy.

Boo for stress. Kick it in the face.
