I keep forgetting to log this but I tryed the strides per min test and this is the results: At 6:30 mile/min pace on level ground I was 186 strides per min At 6:00 mile/min pace on slight downhill I was 186 strides per min At 6:00 mile/min pace on level/ uphill I was 184 strides per min Also a resting heart rate of 40 I've seen a few people on the blog thorw this up... although I'm not sure what this means I just read the article in runners world about how around 180 srides per min is what the elite runners that are winning big marathons have. Today I Ran with Steve and Bill. Did most of the half marathon course backwards. Ended up in the parking lot at 12 miles so we ran under the freeway and up past the dealerships for some more to cool down. Didn't blow the doors off anyone today. Just got in a good run. |
