Went on 2 big mt. bike rides here in Moab. Lots of steep climbs, pounding rock trails, and sand. I road the Slickrock trail this morning. It says on the reviews that it takes between 2-4 hours to ride. I did it in 1:24 - passed lots of road kill. Then this evening I did the Flat Pass trail- or One Rocky Mutha. I was pushing it trying to out run some four wheelers back to town... and I did. I was flying but pounding up the hills and  my heart rate was sky high. Anyway the legs are dead... DEAD! But it was totally worth it.

I love the Slickrock trail! Sounds like fun. Have you done the Porcupine Rim trail? You should also go play out at Bartlett's Wash...great slickrock!

Jeff I did all 4 trails in one ride the next day. Burro Pass to Hazard County to Kokopelli and finally finished on Porcupine Rim... What an amazing ride. 30+ miles just on rocky, dirt trail.

Kory- I've thought it might kind of be fun but never actually followed through and did one.
