I didn't really want to go this morning. It was 11 degrees first thing this morning, 22 by the time I got up (8 a.m.), and 31 when I went out. So not too bad considering how cold it was early on. I did the Teasdale loop the I do when I'm up here in Torrey. Other than I extended it down past the Morrel farm and back into town past the old lower field. Pace for the run was 7:03 min mile. I just tried to stay relaxed and enjoy the run. The altitude was an issue today. I felt like I was really out of shape... and I know I'm not in peak shape but all things considered I'm not too bad. Started at around 6,850 and climbed to around 7,400. All that with the three extra layers of cloths and I was wanting to cut it short. But in the end I'm glad I got out and got some miles in. Now it's almost time to do the turkey thing. Then we will drive back home today. |
