Had planned to get up and do a 20 mile run. But the ankle (yes last years injury) hurt bad yesterday and last night so I kind of bagged running first thing. We had the kids sleep at the grandparents last night so I slept great from 9:30p.m -6a.m. The best rest I've had for almost two months.

40.4 mile ride on the bike out and back over through the fields up by Costco and then out and back to the airport. 21.8 mph avg. Kind of a bummer because I though I needed only 40 miles to hit 200 for the week but I mis read it last night and today's ride only put me at 198.3.... duh. Anyways on the ride my legs were dead but I tried to work on riding with tired legs and by the end of the ride my ankle felt pretty loose.

10.2 mile run around the DC loop. Almost 9 a.m by the time I hit the road and it was hot. But I was hydrated well and the drinking fountain at the DC was cold! No watch but a honest pace to finish off a solid day and week.
