5k this morning on the treadmill. I set out to do as many as Myler would allow. We were up in Torrey and no one else was home so I had to sit and watch him crawl around on the floor in front of me. He started to get really fussy at around 2.7 so I knew it was only going to be short.

6.6 mile B-hills loop this evening. After coming home from Torrey and doing a bunch of chores around the house and yard I did a quick run while my mother-in-law watched Myler at her house.

On the run I just went with the 7 min guy on smooth effort. Then on all the downhill sections of this course I laid it all out there and hit CV pace just to attempt to get the legs going. Running fast is going to take some work to do again. I had to really focus to keep the legs moving at that tempo... and I didn't even go far enough on the bursts to worry about real shape.

No Jon I'm not doing it. I do want to do a Ultra in the future but not that one. That course just seems like hell.

I've heard some of the other guys talking about it... I think Steve is for sure but I don't know about the others.
