6 mile run. Did the inner B-hills loop and Secret street at the end. Had some major stomach issues as a result of some excellent Mexican food yesterday. Stomach was bad news this morning.

15 miles spinning the bike while getting fit at the shop. Didn't make a ton of changes but brought the set up pretty good and dropped the bars up front. I guess we'll see what happens on Saturday.

You must be doing desparado dual up on the mountain?? Bike racing is so much different than running. From my limited experience, you spend a lot of time just relaxing behind other aggressive riders, then every once in a while you test the other riders with an aggressive surge or cover the surge of other riders. You can be better conditioned than other riders but it is hard to lose them if they just sit on your wheel. the hills separate the strong and weak riders.

Mechanical failure(tube/tire etc) is always a real possibility so be prepared. Have a great time and I look forward to reading about it.

I knew you would be so jacked this morning!

Good luck up there - kill em!

Yeah I'm a little nervous about the whole bike race thing. I'll just try to chalk tomorrow up as "learning" and don't have any real expectations as far as competing. Although I will try my hardest:)
