Started out by doing the first 6 miles of the river loop but then circled back through B-hills and the Knolls to finish. I tried to stay slow and easy the entire run and it worked because I only hit a avg of 7:40. Kind of felt wore out and dehydrated. I'm going to work on getting a nap in today. 8 miles tonight with the club. Did the Bloominton loop with a little at the end to square it off at 8. Good group out tonight to run with Hayden on his last run before the mission. He's been a good kid and should do great out in the field. It's been fun running with him over the years. As we got on the trail back up to the DC everyone took off and I dropped my keys. So I spent the next two miles trying to reel them in and hit a couple miles at 5:30 pace up to the freeway where we put it into cool down mode. It was kind of fun picking it up and on tired legs it turned out better than I thought it would. |
