Really good 18 mile run this morning. Out into the fields to the bridge then over to the Costco road down to the river trail and to the DC. Then around Flying J and back around the Knolls to the house. Basically a net flat course. There is a really good hill you climb by Flying J and some 1% downhill but it is really close to as flat as it gets in STG. I hit the first mile in like 8:20 and then cruised around 7:15 pace for a while hitting the first 8 miles in around 58 mins. Then on the last 10 I dropped the pace to around 6:30 to hit an avg of 7:00 min pace straight up for the run. It felt good to hit somewhat of a real workout. In the end I had plenty left in the tank and was feeling good. Other than the hammy was a touch sore but nothing like it was a few months ago.

After I got home I ran back over to the park and back pushing Myler for a cool down. It was our Stake 5k race and I wanted to go over and see everyone start. I had no intentions of running it although about 10 people tried to get me to do it. Now to relax and enjoy this cooler weather it was really nice out this morning.

Great run Clyde! I am up for some good runs with you this week, if you have time. That sounds like a great course for an honest workout. I should know on the golf thing in about an hour. My wife was in vegas last night and may get the condo tonight as well. If she does I guess I will be headed down with the kids. I will text you, thanks for the invite.

Nice workout Clyde, just a walk in the park buddy! Keep up the good work!
