Out riding at around 4:30. I don't mind the training I'm putting in but it's gonna be a battle to keep these early hours up all summer... coupled with no sleep and a baby. Yesterday for example Haylen woke to be fed at 1:53 and the whole process took almost an hour before he went back to sleep. Then I couldn't fall asleep for about a half hour... then the alarm went off at 3:50. So basically yesterday I was up at 1:50 a.m with a 30 min nap all day. I'm freaking wasted.

So todays ride was a direct reflection of the above. Felt like I was killing it the entire ride. Just working my butt off and I was barely over 20 mph. Even on some downhills I couldn't get any turnover. It was super frustrating out there and at times I'd just yell verbal rants at myself in effort to pick up the pace... but it didn't work.  20.6 mph avg. Out around southern parkway up into Ivins and back.

8.1 mile run. I got home right before 7 a.m and came in to find Mik'L who was (sleeping in)! So she wasn't going outside today I just jumped right into my run for a real brick workout. I was tired and the run was slow. I spent almost the entire run thinking about what I was going to come home and eat for breakfast. Cereal, eggs, bacon, toast, fruit... I thought it out and came home and made it happen.
