Open water swim in East Canyon Reservoir.  It was described by one in our party this morning as an "indulgence." I have to agree with that. But it's awesome to be in the water so early in the morning.

How long were you in the water? I have been jumping in the pool (just a little) this summer and have really enjoyed it - but I might be a little scared to swim out in the lake just yet with my skills.

We were in the water about an hour. Part of that time is spent treading water, hanging around the buoys and chatting. It's not a competitive endeavor.

I should add that the wetsuit makes it all possible -- so nice to have that flotation helper.
