Black Sheep workout on the Highland track. We ran 1.4 warm up loop around Sugarhouse, followed by 800 m of speed changes on the track. The workout was a ladder, 3 x 400, 2 x 800, 1 x 1200, 2 x 800, 3 x 400. All went well through the 400s, 800s and 1200. On the first 800 on the "other side" of the ladder, I had problems. I felt a bit lightheaded and my arms had the sensation of not being attached to my body. I bailed after the first lap, emptied some of the contents of my stomach (fluids), then jogged a bit. I started to feel better and joined again to finish the 400s (82, 78, 76). Then we cooled down around Sugarhouse. I don't know what happened in the middle of the workout but I'm glad I stopped rather than push through it.
