An out and back where I basically ran east, turned around, and ran west. It was perhaps a little bit more detailed than that, but only slightly.

That's a great write up:)

Thanks, Clyde. As you can see, I put a lot of time into this entry and I'm glad it was appreciated. It is truly hard work to write with such incredible vagueness and non-specificity. This entry, perhaps, cannot be paralleled in that regard.

This entry lends itself so well to us understanding exactly what you did. I can almost picture every step of it, detail by detail, as if I was there alongside you.

Maybe next time you can add some equally descriptive pictures, like one pointed straight down of a 2 sq ft area of non-descript asphalt.

Jon-I feel that so many bloggers try to write in a way that "draws the reader into their run," so that they are really experiencing the bloggers actual run. I'm trying to do the opposite; giving the reader so little information that they are compelled to stoke the fires of their own imagination to envision exactly what in the world I might, possibly, perhaps, be talking about.

Either that, or they just stop reading your blog cause it's so boring.
