Snow! Not enough to accumulate on the roads or sidewalks, but it covered the yards pretty well. I ran the U/Avenues/Ensign loop. I saw either a fox or coyote (more likely a fox) dart in front of me about 100 meters away as I was heading into the little trail section behind Ensign. That was cool. So it felt like a legitimate winter run today with glove, hat, tights, vest etc.

Here I always thought foxes were such benign creatures. I've seen several down around the bird refuge this year. I'm glad I hadn't read this story before I saw them. One was just a few yards in front of me running before it jumped into the next bush. I wonder why a fox would attack a runner.
