An unusual day of training for me. I woke up and knew I was getting sick. Family and friends have been getting some type of fast-acting stomach flu and I was clearly well on my way. So I went for a run, hoping I could finish before the vomiting began. I did, although this was probably the most painful 10 miler of my life. Wish I'd had a thermometer, I'm curious what my temperature was at the time. Felt like it must have been well over 100. Finished and threw up 2 hours later and haven't thrown up since. In fact, some Tylenol took my temperature down and I'm feeling pretty good right now. I'm sure I'll be back on my feet tomorrow and it doesn't look like I'm going to miss any training after all. If I'm going to get sick, this is the way to do it.

AM - Fever seems to be down so I went for a short run. Very shaky on the legs but managed 30:11 for 4 without feeling too bad.

PM - 6 miles. Spoke too soon. Very very painful. Bleh. 43:11

AM - Easy run with some of the guys from Desert Hills. Legs felt like lead, I'm surprised at how much this bug took out of me. I was planning to run at the UW indoor next week but am reconsidering. We'll see how the tempo run goes next week.
