Morning run, I wanted to do an half marathon in 1:35 I ended up doing it in 1:36:57. I am still happy about the result, it is in the marathon pace territory, so it is good. I felt it was difficult to maintain the planned pace (4:30/km), the two minutes at the end were the result of the slow start during the first 10km then when all my hopes to finish under 1:40 were almost gone I kept the pace ending up doing the last 11km at 4:30 or slightly faster. It was probably a mix between tired legs and mind that were not working in sync. |
