| Wow is it COOL out! And windy... Not in my favor either. I'm still waiting for my fingers and ears to thaw out (and I was wearing gloves). 10 days until the marathon. I'm excited! |

I will definitely be doing THAT again! That was AWESOME!
I had decided prior to the race that I didn't care what my time was. I could take every minute of the 6 hours allowed, I was passing that finish line. :o) That I think that's why I had so much fun, because I didn't CARE! :o) It was a really hard course, but it was beautiful. |

| Was a refreshing run. I felt great. I thought I was going at a good pace too, but when I got home, and saw what time it was, I started questioning that. O-well, I felt good. It was good timing though, because right after I got home, we got a dust storm. Yikes! |

| Did arms, legs, and core work out today. The core stuff was rough. (Then again, my ab muscles are pretty wimpy). I'm planning on running the Salt Lake City Marathon in April and have decided I need to work strength training in preparation. I'm hoping it will help my knee out. we'll see. :o) |

Did Strength training again. Wow! I can feel it! i'm thinking about either going running (which I need to do) with my girls later, or going biking with my girls later (cross training). I need to run, but the idea of pushing that double stroller just doesn't sound good to me right now. I think biking may win this battle. :o)
Biking won... and barely. My silly red-head told me she didn't WANT to go. I pretty much told her we were going without her, to which she decided she'd love to go and actually had a great time (sang me songs the entire time). Then we came home and had cookies. :o) |

Did upper, lower, and core strength training again. Is it too early to say I've noticed a slight difference in my arms? I like the way it makes me feel. Will keep it up! I'm planning to run 7 miles today, when my husband gets home from work to watch the kiddos. I think Melanie has pink eye. Sincerely hope Noelle and I don't catch it.
So I went out thinking that I was only going to do 7, and then decided to do 8.5 instead. It's beautiful out today! I did 6 of the miles on a dirt track. Saw a lot of wild animals (mainly just rabbits and rodents). Saw a few other runners out too. I think I saw a friend of mine from church, but he was a little far off and in the zone, so I didn't want to yell his name and mess up his run. Happy Wednesday! |
