| | I decided to try another pair of shoes today to see if that was the problem. I found a pair of Mizunos in my closet. Turns out it's an old pair with over 800 miles on them, but they didn't look bad at all. I was getting ready to go, but they felt very uncomfortable. I thought maybe there was a piece of exposed plastic near the left side in the middle. I finally decided to look at the piece of plastic, but it turned out it was a rock. LOL. I dumped it out and it was fine after that. As I was finishing my first loop and approaching Adobe, I thought about what to blog about for yesterday since I hadn't blogged yet. I thought maybe I would just say that my calf felt fine. That's when I realized it didn't feel fine today. Or maybe it started to hurt right at the moment I had that thought. Who knows? Luckily I was almost home.

| | I decided to just walk the dog today and maybe we do a little running if I felt like it. I haven't been walking him every day like I used to for quite some time. He got gun shy after hearing some fireworks. I don't even remember for which holiday. Maybe last 4th of July? Has it been that long? But occasionally I take him out when he forgets it's not always scary. But then he forgets how to walk and he only wants to sniff every little thing. And he's always pull, pull, pull, or stop, stop, stop. There's no in between.
Well, we didn't get too far when all of the sudden my calf had another shooting pain. I'm glad no one was in my immediate vicinity because I audibly winced. I wasn't even that far from home, but I called my wife to come get us.
