Another run with Marthon Dreamer this morning.  She likes to do her long runs on Sundays because there's less traffic.  That's fine by me.  4 sounded real good this morning.  There was a light sprinkle when I walked out the door at 5:30am.  But by the time we stretched and got running, it stopped.  I was surprised to see how many people were out this morning.  We ran south down the Eastern Canal today just to change things up a bit.  I was really scared we might run into some aggressive ducks or something.  Luckily we just saw a large crane, some loud peacocks, and a few oxen.  As another runner approached us I put my hand out for him to slap me five.  At the last minute he saw it, and managed to make contact as he apologized for not recognizing my awesomenaciousness earlier.  After the run we planned on swimming some laps, but the pool was locked and didn't open 'til 9am.  It's probably for the best.  With the amount of sweat that I was dripping, I'm sure I would have overtopped the pool.

Day 27 P90X - Yoga X

Starting to think yoga isn't oh so gay anymore.  That's just a little play on words.  Now Stretch X tomorrow, and on to Phase II.

I got my emissions tested in my truck today.

You should have busted down the door to the pool maybe?

She did suggest we climb over it. LOL!

How could he not recognize your awesomenaciousness right away? I can recognize it from thousands of miles away.

Aggressive ducks scare me. I've been chased by them a few times on runs. I like that awesome new word of yours!

birds huh? Now we know how to motivate you on those long runs :) A little swim after a long run would've been nice! Maybe next time you should show the pool your awesomenaciousness and then they'll let you in early despite the sweat!

With the P90X training people should be leary of your high 5. It could turn into a high closeline! Burt the terminator! Hey, nice run.

Thanks for not overflowing the pool!

Peacocks and oxen...that's a mix I don't see very often. You've got some diverse wildlife out there.

I love peacocks. If I ever get out west and have the chance to run with your royal awesomenaciousness, I will wear my peacock faather earrings...with the zebra shorts.

I'm totally impressed that you're sticking to the p90x thing and really doing it regularly. Most people I know who have tried it quit after just a few days. I guess it's your amesomenaciousness that keeps you going.
