I got an email from one of my Ragnar Wasatch Back teammates inviting us to go on a run at Las Sendas.  I wasn't sure if I was going to make it even though I wanted to because of my chronic (do you like that word?) back aches.  But I decided to go, just to see everyone.  Unfortunately I was late, and 'everyone' had left.

I just finished eating three over-stuffed fajitas, so I took it easy.  I forgot my Garmin, but according to Map My Run I went 3.32 miles.  Out and back.  174 feet ascent and descent.  It felt like longer.  As I was driving away I saw Marilyn, the only other teammate that showed up and her cousin.  Kelli knows Marilyn.  She has a picture of her on her Facebook.

Hey Burt, Cut back on that Thunder cardio a little and maybe your back aches will go away.

Fajitas sound so good right now.

NEVER!

I'm no doctor, and I don't play one on tv, but my backaches went away when I incorporated deadlifts into my workout routine. Just a thought.

Fajitas are the perfect food, except when it comes to running I guess. Good luck with that back injury - chronic sounds bad unless your name is Dr. Dre.

How do you eat and then run? my fajita would be grossly on the side of the road!

Has Marilyn seen her famous picture??

BTW, have you ever seen RocketMan? We just watched it at Jose's and I had this strange feeling it would be like one of your favorite movies ever.

Fajitas on the side of the road would just recook themselves. I'll ask Marilyn the next time I see her. I do remember that movie. I've only watched it once, though.
