I had a little bit of work I still needed to get done today so I ran to my office.  It was 10:30am and about 80 degrees out.  I took my bike route up until I reached the canal.  Then I ran down the canal to Southern.  I saw 4 ducks and 1 turtle.

Time - 21:31 (avg. pace 8:37)

Splits - 8:36, 8:41, 4:15 for 0.5 (8:31 pace)

When I finished working I texted my wife to tell her I was heading back.  She told me nobody was home.  I asked if I was locked out of the house, and she said yep.  So I stayed at work for a while longer and broke my weekly record on Bejeweled Blitz.

I took the same route on the way home.  It was about 82 degrees out at 4pm.  I don't know why it's so nice out today, but I'll take it.  I saw the same 4 ducks in the canal.  I also saw a guy sitting on the side of the bank fishing.  He noticed the Pat Tillman T-shirt I was wearing and told me he had ran the same race.  We talked for a while as he chewed on his tobacco and I explained how it was all right to fish in this canal but not the one just east of it.  Just as I was starting to get bored his phone rang.  Saved by the bell.

Time - 20:48 (avg. pace 8:20)

Splits - 8:30, 8:14, 4:05 for 0.5 (8:09 pace)

What if he reads about you getting bored in your public blog? Your next encounter will be awkward.

I had a dream that you were made a bishop today. :) I guess you know you're spending too much time online when you hallucinate about people you've never met. :)

Mr Monte - He did look a bit crazy. I should probably not run by the canal alone or I'll be bait for the fishes.

Steve - For the church's sake, let's hope that never happens. I've been first counselor, and that's as close as I need to be.

Chris - I like to keep the blog very exclusive.

You don't have a hide-a-key Burty?

Oh snap! I'm so mad at you Toby! You just reminded me that I do have a key hidden in my back yard. What a moron I am! Thanks a lot.
