There's a very good chance I won't be getting any running or P90X in this week.  It's moving week.  I'll be taking a load of junk with me every morning.  I'll just stick to push-ups, pull-ups, and sit-ups.  It's probably good that I work on those since I really don't want to be eating allie's, Nan's, or Sam's shorts.  Now I'm off to meet some Fitness Singles.

Push-ups - 25

Pull-ups - 4

From RAD on Mon, May 17, 2010 at 16:43:54 from 67.172.229.125

Good luck with the moving! I think packing and moving is more work than a marathon (even if it IS spread out over a week!).

From runningafterbabies on Mon, May 17, 2010 at 16:52:24 from 67.177.9.74

GL this week with the move. Just throw in some KenpoX moves in between loading the boxes. You could also start a new craze called Moving with BurtX.

From flatlander on Mon, May 17, 2010 at 17:17:07 from 198.207.244.102

Ugh, this is one of those weeks you just put your head down and go after it. No way will it be fun but eventually it will end. Don't be like some of my friends who take weeks or months to move.

From Burt on Mon, May 17, 2010 at 17:28:52 from 206.19.214.144

Hi Kristen. Nice to meet you. I'm actually married, but you're in luck because I'm Mormon. I can have many wives.

RAD - Moving is quite the workout. I spend a lot of time flexing in front of the mirror hoping my muscles will magically get bigger. Well, the last time I moved, they actually did.

Melody - Will you provide a testimonial for my new workout DVD?

Flat - Every move gets harder and harder because we accumulate more and more stuff, kids being one of them. Hopefully with all the time I have to move things, this will be one of the easiest ones.

Hey doing something is better than doing nothing my brotha!

From seeaprilrun on Mon, May 17, 2010 at 19:42:56 from 72.205.226.44

Top ten list of things I hate to do:

1. Move

Good luck man!

From rAtTLeTrAp on Mon, May 17, 2010 at 20:06:44 from 75.230.150.71

Good luck with your move. Are you still going to be within riding distance from work?

From Burt on Mon, May 17, 2010 at 20:16:01 from 206.19.214.144

Lily - plus it could give me time to heal up all the way. Fingers crossed.

April - bwahahaha!! Good one!

RT - I'll be within walking distance of work. Well, I'll be about 2 miles away.

From SlowJoe on Mon, May 17, 2010 at 20:49:01 from 184.79.24.255

Good luck with the move - at least there are some anaerobic benefits.

From rAtTLeTrAp on Mon, May 17, 2010 at 21:13:07 from 75.230.150.71

2 miles, that's awesome! I love being that close to work. We sold our second car about 3 years ago and I ride my bicycle every day.

From auntieem on Tue, May 18, 2010 at 11:34:50 from 24.18.77.246

Being 2 miles from work will be really cool! Good luck with the move/workout.

From Burt on Tue, May 18, 2010 at 13:03:06 from 206.19.214.144

Joe and auntieem - thanks.

RT - I plan on riding my bike every day, rain or shine.

From Teena Marie on Tue, May 18, 2010 at 14:26:31 from 174.52.45.85

Moving??? OUCH!!! Good luck with that! Hey ... put your feet up on some of those moving boxes as you do your pushups!

From Scott Wesemann on Tue, May 18, 2010 at 15:29:19 from 66.239.250.209

Hey, didn't you mention a few weeks ago that you were going to post up shirtless pic that you took before you started P90X?

From Burt on Tue, May 18, 2010 at 15:35:22 from 206.19.214.144

Teena - Good idea. I'll use that in my DVD.

Scott - uh, no. Keep dreaming.

From baldnspicy on Wed, May 19, 2010 at 00:13:29 from 72.77.64.196

The only thing that is worse than moving is moving furniture between rooms...multiple times. Don't ask, just take my word for it.

2 miles? That's easy walking distance, even in AZ when it's 120 degrees...at 5am. Short commute is the way to go. Never realized how great it is until I left my 2.5hr commute each way in DC and came to my 5mi commute in Pittsburgh. I'll never go back to a long commute. There will always be a McDonalds within 5 miles of me, so if I lose my job, I'll be set! :-)

Good luck!

From Nan on Wed, May 19, 2010 at 12:35:49 from 174.51.250.151

Good luck on Move Ripper X.

From Lyns on Wed, May 19, 2010 at 15:06:24 from 174.27.218.69

HATE moving - sorry man! I feel your pain!

From Sue on Thu, May 20, 2010 at 00:44:24 from 75.169.56.42

Yikes, even harder with those little kids all over. I hope it all works out. Are you doing the p90x eating as well? Just want to know what your thoughts are.
