What a crazy week last week turned out to be.  I ended up working 'til 5 in the morning Thursday and Friday.  Saturday I spent all day preparing for our move in three weeks.  I got a lot done, so that's good.  It was nice to start this week out with a run.  Hopefully I won't follow the trend of the last few weeks, start out good, then peter out.

Time - 25:41 (avg. pace 8:34)

Splits - 8:26, 8:40, 8:35

Pu-pu-su challenge

barely 4 pull-ups

25 push-ups

100 sit-ups - instead of doing the isometric 2 count crunch, I thought I would save time and just do normal sit-ups.  I quickly realized how much it was working my quads.  I stopped at 100 because of the burn in my quads, but my fat belly felt fine.

I do the real sit-ups the whole time and have the same problem. I don't think I'm really working my belly at all (the goal) but my legs are on FIRE!

Working 'til 5AM... sounds like you're in college!

ARe you moving far?

From Merri on Mon, May 03, 2010 at 12:12:30 from 160.7.252.148

Yeah where are you moving to? And I don't like your job. :)

From Burt on Mon, May 03, 2010 at 12:20:13 from 206.19.214.144

KP - that's funny. One of the guys that was staying late with me asked when the last time it was I had to stay up all night like that. I told him college.

Nevels - Are you still doing the college and full time job thing?

Britta - I'm moving closer to work in Mesa. It should be nice.

Merri - I dare you to tell my boss to shove it!

From Nevels on Mon, May 03, 2010 at 12:24:56 from 131.204.15.93

done with classes, just working on thesis research and a side project...

From Nan on Mon, May 03, 2010 at 13:22:39 from 174.51.250.151

I've been doing a mixture of crunches and full sit-ups too. Also leg lifts and some other ideas taken from the Ab-Ripper-X. Its too boring to just do one thing.

Glad the fat belly didn't complain. LOL

From Merri on Mon, May 03, 2010 at 13:35:06 from 160.7.252.148

Hammies feeling better?

From Burt on Mon, May 03, 2010 at 13:55:57 from 206.19.214.144

Nan - The weight is getting out of control. Did you really LOL? I lied when I said I did on Melody's blog.

Merri - Barack O'bama - 1600 Pennsylvania Ave...

Adele - Sorry. It wasn't two days in a row. It started Thursday and ended Friday morning. The hammy is getting better. I'm running, just not fast.

From Burt on Mon, May 03, 2010 at 17:24:38 from 206.19.214.144

Sam - I've been doing my P90X workouts. There's a lot of push-up, pull-ups, and ab-ripping. I just max out on Monday mornings.

Word on the street is you're much sexier when you do yoga. I can't confirm this however.

From Burt on Mon, May 03, 2010 at 18:04:05 from 206.19.214.144

You can't Scott? Really? I beg to differ. The proof is in the pudding.
