Three miles this morning or there abouts.  I took MichelleL's advice and left the Garmin at home.  Okay, the battery was dead.  But I wanted to go on a nice easy run anyway so who cares?  I took Ginger with me.  She defecated.

*******************************************************************************

Day 73 P90X - Arms and Shoulders/Ab Ripper X - I had to referree for the young men again.  If that's not enough of a workout, my buddy Brad and I played some hoops afterwards.  It's probably been two years since I've done that.  In the second game I tried to poke the ball away from someone.  That was stupid.  I jammed my right index finger real good.  It started swelling up immediately.  I literally saw it puffing up like a balloon.  Of course I had to keep playing because there was only 8 of us.  Then I went home and threw in the P90X.  Thank goodness this is my favorite workout.  Why?  Because it's not hard to me.  The only thing I couldn't do was lock my fingers together.  You only do that at the beginning when you stretch out and at the end when you do Mason Twists.  Even typing this hurts.  Hopefully it feels better in the morning.

Ha, there's a new blogger called burp.  I just blogged right after him so it said Burt and burp on the Most Recent Entries Board.  Well, I thought it was cool.

hope you brought the kitty litter along.

From Chad on Wed, Sep 15, 2010 at 12:32:12 from 168.177.153.5

How about a baggie? Did you bring a baggie and carry it home with you?

From Burt on Wed, Sep 15, 2010 at 12:40:40 from 206.19.214.144

allie - Ginger is a dog. A DOG!!!!

Chad - I used to bring baggies, but it's been so long since she's done that. I figure some bird will eat it or it will biodegrade. I'm just going to let nature run its course.

From allie on Wed, Sep 15, 2010 at 12:46:22 from 174.19.51.35

my apologies. i must have missed that conversation. so ginger is a cat, eh? cool.

From Burt on Wed, Sep 15, 2010 at 12:53:27 from 206.19.214.144

allie - please don't make me have to post your finish line picture at the Deseret News Marathon. I don't want to, but you're not leaving me with many options.

From allie on Wed, Sep 15, 2010 at 13:17:24 from 174.19.51.35

From Chad on Wed, Sep 15, 2010 at 13:30:19 from 168.177.153.5

Burt, I think you scared allie.

The good-old biodigradable excuse works like a charm.

From Burt on Wed, Sep 15, 2010 at 13:36:52 from 206.19.214.144

Chad - nah. allie loves the attention.

RP - It works for humans as well.

Until some steps in it. My wife won't clean shoes that have stepped in it, she just throws out the shoes.

From allie on Wed, Sep 15, 2010 at 14:11:22 from 174.19.51.35

yes, burt scared me. i shudder at the thought of that pic. i would be fine if i never saw it again.

seriously.

i love dogs named ginger. and i hate oprah. i always wished i could be an independent beachbody coach, but i am not cool enough. nobody is better at scrabble than burt. and i hate those dirty spurs.

From Burt on Wed, Sep 15, 2010 at 14:18:49 from 206.19.214.144

allie - you're my favorite.

From Bonnie on Wed, Sep 15, 2010 at 21:35:56 from 128.196.228.134

what a minute, favorite what?

From Nan on Wed, Sep 15, 2010 at 23:57:30 from 24.8.144.22

Oh Ginger is a cat? I was imagining you with a large rat on a leash pausing with a guilty look on your face while it crapped on the neighbor's lawn then nonchalantly meandering away like nothing happened. I was way off.

From allie on Thu, Sep 16, 2010 at 00:06:40 from 174.19.51.35

nan - you are my favorite.

From Burt on Thu, Sep 16, 2010 at 03:51:28 from 68.225.214.248

Bonnie - I'm so wishy washy.

Nan - Do I swear on your blog? Uh, don't answer that.

allie - and I'm Nan's favorite. It's the circle of life.

Chris - Don't make me punch you in the left ovary again.

From The Quiet Pirate on Thu, Sep 16, 2010 at 13:25:37 from 152.26.59.252

I've considered running with Mimosa the chicken, but I think the "waste" might end up on me if I put her on my shoulder like a good pirate would.

I enjoy the non-garmin runs & ginger snaps too.

Anyone that can do P90X with a jammed finger has superpowers.
